From Life Sentence to Legacy Builder

I grew up in the projects, raised by my grandmother, a strong woman who did her best to hold it all together. But when she went to prison when I was just 14, any sense of stability disappeared.

School became a battleground. I was kicked out repeatedly and placed in special education for behavioral issues. By my early teens, I was cycling in and out of juvenile detention, chasing validation in all the wrong places. At 22, I found myself facing a life sentence.

In that dark place, I made a choice: accept the life I was handed, or fight to rewrite it. I fired my attorney, studied law from my cell, and beat the life sentence. I still served six years for a gun and assault charge, but I walked out with purpose.

Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to transformation and impact. I founded Pro Se Potential, a nonprofit that grew into a million-dollar organization serving hundreds of youth and families with mentorship, culturally grounded support, and resource navigation.

I’ve transformed thousands across the country, sharing my journey and helping others find their power, even in the darkest moments.

Today, through my work, I help people do what I’ve done: rebuild, realign, and rise.
