I grew up in the projects, raised by my grandmother after my father was tragically taken before I was born. My mom wasn’t always present during my early years, and as a result, life often felt unstable. School was a constant struggle—I was kicked out repeatedly and placed in special education due to behavioral issues. By my early teens, I found myself in and out of juvenile detention, making choices that ultimately led to me facing a life sentence at just 22 years old.
In that dark place, I realized I had a choice: accept the life I was given or fight to rewrite my story. I chose to fight. I fired my attorney, studied law, and won my case. After serving six years, I walked out determined to turn my life around and help others do the same.
Since then, I’ve built a life focused on transformation and impact. I founded Pro Se Potential, a million-dollar nonprofit organization that has served countless youth and families in underserved communities. We provide mentorship, resource navigation, and culturally relevant support to young people facing the same challenges I once did.
I’ve also had the privilege of speaking to thousands of people across the country, sharing my journey and inspiring others to break free from their circumstances and take control of their future.
Most recently, I launched Second Chance Success, a platform dedicated to helping people create their own second chance. Through workshops, resources, and community, Second Chance Success focuses on personal development, mindset shifts, and transformation, empowering individuals to rebuild their lives and step into their full potential—just like I did.
If you’re ready to create your own second chance, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
